The Studio
ACRYLAÉ STUDIO is a California studio working between textile, acrylic, and interior architecture.
We frame collectible scarves, pieces that have spent years folded in boxes, in conservation-grade acrylic. The result is not a frame placed around a textile. It is an object with its own dimension and presence, sited in a room rather than hung on a wall.
Each commission begins with two things: the textile, and the space it will occupy. Proportion, edge color, and orientation follow from there.
